Melania Trump is admired for her poise and criticized for various aspects of her public and private life. Join me as I research, discover, and share what I find about the First Lady, an enigmatic figure in the public eye. While this podcast is titled The Melania Memoirs, it is an informal take from a fan who adores Melania Trump, and this podcast is my way of sharing my reverence for the First Lady.

Speaker 1:

Hey, this teaser is going to be a little bit longer than normal because I have a lot to say over this article from the Daily Mail. When Trump went and rang the bell at the New York Stock Exchange, they have a body language expert that says Melania with a power move, gives signals in how she is going to be, signals in how she is going to be. There is a hint that Melania is embracing her powerful role as FLOTUS this time around in a way she didn't before. Body language expert Judy James told DailyMailcom. I'm excited about this. So she goes on to talk about.

Speaker 1:

James said President-elect Trump was in Mount Rushmore mode here. His peacocking, showboating body language signals were confined to a couple of smug smiles and some tie sign pointing at individuals in his audience, but the overall demeanor was one of chiseled from stone, statesman-like gravity and a living homage to the very flattering cover photo of time, which was a very flattering photo of Donald Trump. I loved it. But Trump's more solid appearance allowed Melania to be more active and use body language signals of a more relaxed sociability. Here she produced some very natural-looking smiles and instigated some conversations, and even popped herself cheekily into a selfie that Trump was asked to pose for, james said and this suit, this pinstripe suit she wore, just, of course, absolutely stunning. I cannot wait to see more of Melania, this second administration.

Speaker 1:

James also noted how the couple was showing their more tactile side. Trump and I did notice this when they showed this on TV, this clip, and I loved it because my husband does this to me. Trump placed a steering, supportive hand on her back when she touched him as they went to leave the balcony, even leaving her hand on his upper arm to register levels of affection and maybe even pride. She said oh my gosh, I cannot believe somebody's writing positive things about Melania and Donald. Okay, we have so much more coming, just a couple more days before the launch of the podcast.
