Today we're talking about Melania yes, the Melania Melania Trump and the first four chapters of her book. You see them on TV and you think what is their private lives really like? She gives us a glimpse into it in this book, in this chapter, and now we're going to go back in time a little bit, where she talks about life as a model. Finally, we step into the glitzy world of Melania's modeling career. She pulls back the curtain on what it's like to be in the fashion industry the high-pressure photo shoots and the late nights and the moments of sheer exhilaration when everything clicks. She shares some behind-the-scenes stories that are equal parts funny and inspiring. For example, there's a tale of a particularly chaotic runway show where everything that could go wrong did, and yet the models, including Melania, kept their cool and made it a success.

This first episode is about chapters 1, 2, 3, and 4. The first chapter is titled USA. The second chapter is titled the. When the third chapter is titled USA, the second chapter is titled the Wind. The third chapter is titled April 26, 1970. And chapter four is called Lights Camera Model.

Now Melania in this book takes us back and forth in time and I just what struck me and I did write some notes, I did take notes on what I wanted to make a point with is that she came to America. Her first chapter is about coming to America and she described what it was like stepping off the plane, going to the airport and then just being here in New York, or being in New York for the first time, and it just struck me, I think, by this time though, she had already been in the first time, and I, it just struck me, I think by this time though, she had already been modeling, been in the modeling world, so she was probably already up in the upper echelon of that career. Anyway, because she takes us back in her book and tells us about how she moved from her hometown to a different country by herself, and then she eventually came to the United States by herself. And I don't know, it just strikes me as such a young age to be that mature and to handle such a massive change like that. It's just incredible to me. In the closing of her last, in the closing of her first chapter, she talks about as an adult, there comes a moment when you become solely responsible for the life you lead. You must take charge, embrace that responsibility and become the architect of your own future. Amen. She talked about that when she wrote that, because she does talk about there comes a time when she realized that she is the person responsible for her life. Nobody else is, not her agent, not her husband, not her, whatever she is, and at such a young age she realized this. It was just stunning to me. I liked it.

She takes this in and out of her early career too. You know, at age 15 over in Slovenia you can go apply to go to a different kind of school. In other words, you don't go to a high school like you do here in the United States. She went to what I guess you would call a trade school here in America, but it was more like fashion, design and technical things like that. This school that she and her sister both went to her sister is three years older than her, so her sister went first at age 15, and then Melania went when she turned 15. She also applied to the school and went, and that's where she was going to study to be an architect and design, that kind of career and she started modeling just as a hobby and to do something fun on the side of going to school and her studies. Well, eventually it just kept being more and more about modeling. She kept getting more and more jobs for modeling to where she realized this would be more lucrative and a better career for her, and so she made that decision to take that avenue instead of finishing school and doing the other thing.

So and she, she talks about her first couple of runway shows that she was in and competitions that she was in before she came, a professional model and whatnot and it was just fun to listen to and realize you know, she was a person.
